Other Considerations

Site not perfectly level

There isn’t always a requirement for sub-frame if the site isn’t level. If on sloping ground, we often adjust the marquee to ensure the structure is level. This would be preferred if there is no intention to provide flooring.

Providing access and exit points

If marquee sub-frame or raised flooring is provided, we build from the highest point. We’d therefore typically incorporate the entrance here and, if needed, can install steps or ramps for alternative access or exits.

Use of sub-frame on a level site

We often use sub-frame to elevate an entire structure to the desired level. In some instances, we use a simplified system to elevate the structure ever so slightly. For example, if there is drainage requirements.

Using a combination of sub-frame and ordinary flooring

If the site is only partially uneven, we can use sub-frame to elevate a section of  the structure. For example, a drop in ground level which is isolated to one point.
