CQM 2024 year highlights
Fast approaching the end of the year to 2024. It’s nearly time to take a breather and reflect on what a year it’s been for CQM!
There has been a number of changes for the new look Crown Queensberry Marquee Hire (previously Queensberry Events) and a busy time with it.
March 2025 activity and early season projects
Having acquired a large stock of marquee assets and related intangibles from the previous owner (Queensberry Events), the new CQM management team set about their business. Planning with event organizers for various festivals, events, weddings and family celebrations. Our diary quickly became packed and it was great to ‘get out there’ and host these special, long awaited days.
Wedding marquee hires incoming!
There were wedding plans and bookings throughout April through to winter months. Each one uniquely different from the rest. From remote hillside locations to castle gardens, the variety of locations across Scotland was breathtaking.
Our personal favorite was the flagship wedding structure provided for Audrey and Rob’s wedding at GlenApp Castle.Designed to re-create an old out door garden Bothy glasshouse, this structure incorporated wild hanging floral arrangements, 360 panoramic and visuals of the Castle in background.
Corporate events and festivals we’ve been part of
We worked to provide some ‘Marquee’ Showstoppers at the Royal Highland Show @ Ingliston, Edinburgh. Including the Holland and Cooper shopfront and marquee stand below. Other corporate hires included various corporate family days Findsbury Food Group, QUIZ clothing, Adrdgowan Distillery opening and German Donner Kebab Company some to mention.
The final in December
Our reflections
As the year draws to a close we’d like to thank our customers, staff and suppliers forĀ everything. With various structures to take down in early Jan, we’re looking forward to some downtime. We say downtime but backlog will fill our schedule with weeks of washing, maintaining and preparing for 2026 on the agenda.
